I think this book helps the parents to understand and respond better to their babies... as well as to their toddlers, preschoolers, teenagers... and even spouses and friends! I found this book incredibly revealing and at this moment rereading it again to freshen up my memories. That’s true, but my very favorite is still “What Babies Say Before They Can Talk : The Nine Signals Infants Use to Express Their Feelings” by Paul Holinger, Kalia Doner.
