My kid has egg allergies. Milk allergies. All kinds of allergies! It’s a nightmare: food is falling apart, he can eat only food from home, to every party we come with our own versions of pizzas, cakes, ice cream, cookies, etc. Search for substitutes is a never ending story for us. This pearl is my own kid’s. Couldn’t resist sharing.

As we are looking at one of the terrific presentations of A.P.P., called “One”  (you can find them here: Encyclopedic Knowledge – Mathematics), we encounter a portrait of George Washington.  I can’t resist some of the forbidden testing:
“Hmm, do you know who is this?”
“Sure!  This is George Washington.”
“And… I forgot who he is.”
“Mom, he discovered Belorus,” – enlightens me my three year old.
???!!! Belorus? I bet Washington would’ve been very surprised to hear about such an amazing achievement! I definitely was. Just as some of our Belorussian friends.
