Jenaia, what a story! As for learning with the kids - that was such a wise comment! I couldn't agree more. Thanks to my kids, I've learned so much in each subject... and the most precious lessons they personally gave me - was love, patience and persistence! I am off to my persistent ones... Talk to you later and good luck! Please post your progress!

As for using any material kits that you can find - feel free to use the materials that I've used for my kids. You can either use the computer, or print them on your printer and show only words, or words and images, or any way that works for you!

Thank you for taking time on answering my questions! You are so welcome! I really do find your website very helpful.:)

I'm so eager to learn more from Glenn Doman. I'm already making a huge list of books I want to read of his.

I'm suprised on how much I'm learning just teaching my kids.
Any kind of kits would be helpful because I'm having diffculty keeping up with my son's pace of learning! And it would save me a little bit of time not having ro make everything from scrach.

Thank you for your kind words - it is very encouraging!

Is it possible to overdo it? Of course! Should you restrain from showing more? I don't think so. I interpreted Doman's pages differently: I believe he recommends having five sets of words and showing them 3 times a day (so it makes 25 words total, 3 times a day). This is just a guideline! If your kid wants 10 sets of words - let it be! If having more words in the set works better for you - add more, remove more, or just create a few more sets... It is a lot easier for me to show more more words in a set just three times a day, then having two sets of five words each (i.e. 6 times a day). It seems seems to work better for my kids - getting my boys' attention is much harder then keeping it, so larger sets less frequently work better for us then Doman's traditional small sets of words more frequently.

Doman recommends stopping before your baby wants to stop, but if you are so lucky to have kids who are so into it You are so amazingly good at encouraging their interest - I take my hat off for you! - please follow their lead and add/remove as many cards as you see necessary for them to stay interested and learn.

Kits: I am not very familiar - I have only Newborn Baby kit and Math. Math consists of 100 dot cards and nothing else (no equal signs, no plus signs, etc). I was preparing most of the materials myself. In a reading kit, I guess - some 22x6 inch word cards, blank cards, markers, some words.

Hi:
My name is Jenaia. I happen to run across your website and thank you for having it it's been very in siteful. I'm teaching both my kids how to read. One is 3 years and the other is 6 months. I know you have said don't overdo it as well this has been recommend in his book. But the problem I'm having is my 3 year old is always asking me to do school with him. At least everyday sometimes he'll want to do it. For example, I know in the Glenn Doman book he talks about don't do it more then 3 times a day for reading. But yesterday my son was begging me to let him to it more over then just 3 times a day. My question is am'I over doing it or not by letting him do school more then what is recommend? He is so eager to learn.

I'm really new to the program so I have another question? What is all inside the kits? I noticed from some of the videos that kids were on the computer doing some kind of game or movie? I'm not sure which but does this come with the kit? And does languges come with some the kits? or do you have make everything from scratch? If you could please answer these questions that really could help me with my teaching.
Thank you!!!
