New presentations – more airplanes!

More, more airplanes are flying your way! This time this is a cute, simple and short kid’s poem by one of the most beloved Russian Children’s poet, enhanced with famous works of art. “Airplanes” can be found here:

Who doesn’t like ice cream? I think kids don’t like ice cream. They LOVE IT! So, here is a little reading treat.
Suddenly the airplanes are drifting into my sons’ area of interests. Apparently, I needed some more materials for them to read and learn. Enjoy!

My older one, Sunshine, is a true fan of the Magic School Bus series. He knows every cartoon by heart. He loves every single book I could find. So when I found their phonics series, I was very excited – and there was a good reason: he loved it!!! Every book is on a different subject. Every book has list of words in the beginning. Every book has facts listed at the back. And, the best one – it has clear simple text with excellent illustrations. Not too busy, not too difficult, neither too easy. It doesn’t teach phonics, it is merely a set of Level 1 books. An excellent collection. Highly, highly recommended.
My little one, Smiles, really doesn’t care about the animals. He happily moos and baas for them in the pictures… but honestly prefers the trucks and tractors to any adorable furry creature. Boys will be boys. So, I created a Russian Transport Alphabet for this car-loving gentleman:
