This is the book to start with. It is a fabulous introduction to the why's and wherefore's as well as exactly how to implement a reading program for your child. Just remember that he is describing a maximum program. And that it is only a guideline - not rules to follow.

The book, How to Teach Your Baby to Read by Glenn Doman, is widely available. Your public library may well carry it. Borders or Barnes & Noble probably have it. I would recommend reading the latest edition (40th anniversary edition). As the years have past since the first edition Doman has refined the method through experiences of the hundreds of thousands of parents who have used it.
